≠igfem stands for “Interessensgemeinschaft Feministische Autorinnen”, which translates into Association of feminist authors’ interest group. We seek to support feminist writers, feminist approaches and actions and are committed to an interdisciplinary and diverse approach. Our association works together with Austrian and international authors, literary representatives, organisations and public institutions. We aim to bring attention to the inequalities faced by women in the literary scene, advocate gender equality as well and establish an international network through the coordination of various projects such as writing groups and symposia.
Our Team
